Tracer is an arcade trajectory memory and path reproduction challenge set to a driving synthwave soundtrack. Memorize the glowing laser path before it dissolves, then trace it accurately from memory.
Features neon laser stroke FX, dynamic speed & precision scoring, and integrated high-score leaderboards.
Each path grows longer and more convoluted as you advance, testing short-term spatial memory rather than raw reflexes — there's no time pressure during the memorization phase, only once you start tracing. Scoring weighs both how closely your drawn line follows the original route and how quickly you complete it, so accuracy and speed trade off against each other. It works with mouse or touch input, so it plays equally well on desktop and mobile.
Tips & Strategy
-
▸
Break a long path into a few mental checkpoints during the preview instead of trying to memorize the whole line at once.
-
▸
Trace at a steady pace rather than rushing — the score weighs accuracy against speed, so a slower, more faithful line often beats a fast, sloppy one.
-
▸
Watch for sharp turns in the preview specifically; smooth curves are easy to approximate from memory, but a sudden direction change is where most traced paths drift off-route.
